Michelle and Anthony founded the Ferguson Foundation to serve Texas communities, inspired by their deep-rooted commitment to giving back. Michelle, a dedicated nonprofit leader, follows in the footsteps of her grandparents, engaging with organizations like the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, and United Way while mentoring students through her career at The South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company. Anthony, an associate pastor at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, advocates for education and resource access, collaborating with local and state organizations to support underserved communities. Together, they co-lead the Ferguson Foundation, uniting their passion for service to create lasting impact.

Gina Haub - President of the Ferguson Foundation
Gina Haub is a seasoned nuclear professional with Master’s Jurisprudence and Governance, Risk, and Compliance degrees from the Texas A&M School of Law. With over 30 years of experience as an IT professional, she brings a wealth of technical expertise through her career specializing in the integration of legal, regulatory, and technological frameworks. Gina has a proven track record of managing complex governance and risk challenges, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, she serves as a dedicated board member for Enid AM Too AMBUCS, contributing to community service and leadership initiatives that support mobility and independence for those in need.”

Portia H. Dukes - Vice President of the Ferguson Foundation
Portia H. Dukes serves as the Vice President of the Ferguson Foundation, bringing with her a wealth of expertise and a passion for community service. As a retired Program Supervisor for the Department of Public Safety-Driver License Division, Portia has over a decade of experience in customer service and public safety regulations. Her tenure at the Crosby Independent School District enriched her with extensive knowledge in the fields of education and social activities.
In addition to her public service career, Portia is the co-owner of AX Transport Inc., where she has played an instrumental role in the company's operations. Her commitment to excellence and her willingness to help others are invaluable assets to the foundation as it seeks to implement and expand its educational programs.
Portia's dedication to public safety, education, and community service makes her a pivotal figure in the Ferguson Foundation's mission to empower individuals and foster sustainable development. Her leadership and vision continue to inspire those around her, making a lasting impact on the communities she serves.

Monique James - Administrative Assistant
Monique James serves as the administrative assistant for the Ferguson Foundation, bringing with her a wealth of administrative expertise and customer service experience from her tenure with the Texas Department of Public Safety. A true businesswoman at heart, Monique has successfully launched several ventures, including Balloon Bash and co-owns EADO Events Houston. Her adeptness in handling public relations and managing contracts has been instrumental in fostering community engagement and ensuring the smooth operation of the foundation’s initiatives.
Monique's background in humanitarian work stems back to her college days at Huston-Tillotson University, where she studied Political Science. Her passion for service and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the Ferguson Foundation.

Falon Clark - Director of Health Services
Falon Clark, a nurse with over 20 years in healthcare, trained at Panola College and Lamar State College. She specializes in wound-care counseling, executive coaching, and professional development. Falon uses evidence-based interventions to enhance health care, focusing on organizational consulting and wellness strategies. Her duties include monitoring treatments, creating care plans, and providing medical care. Notably, she is experienced in dealing with patients facing diabetic issues, ensuring that they receive comprehensive care through meticulous monitoring of blood sugar levels, dietary guidance, and personalized treatment plans aimed at managing and alleviating complications.
She is dedicated to her role, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Outside work, she raises her son and volunteers on various community initiatives. With Falon’s expertise in the medical field, she brings a wealth of knowledge that will assist the foundation in exploring avenues to help individuals with medical needs.

Austin Smith - Director of Special Programs
Austin Smith, a graduate of Prairie View University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Director of Special Programs for the Ferguson Foundation. With a deep understanding of daily operations and exceptional leadership skills, Austin exemplifies dedication and proficiency in all his endeavors.
At Prairie View University, Austin analytical and problem-solving skills, which are invaluable in managing the Foundation's projects and ensuring its sustained growth. His commitment to the community and passion for making a positive impact are evident in his meticulous approach to ensuring things are done right the first time.
Austin's strategic vision and ability to navigate complex situations have been instrumental in advancing the Foundation's mission.

Dr. Justyn Smith, PhD, LPC-Supervisor - Director of the Mental Health Program
Dr. Justyn Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with a passion for mental health awareness and wellness in the community. He has earned a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University, as well as a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Sam Houston State University. He has over a decade of clinical experience across community health agencies, psychiatric hospitals, non-profits, college counseling centers, and currently in private practice as a Lead Clinical and Supervising Therapist. His academic contributions include 7 years as an adjunct professor in graduate programs for clinical mental health counseling. He also specializes in organizational consulting, helping to create and integrate wellness strategies into content creation, program development, and professional training. Dr. Smith has delivered 50+ presentations at the national, state and local level on counseling, multiculturalism, and mental health.

Ashley N. Scott MS, LPC - Co-Director of the Mental Health Program
Ashley N. Scott is a licensed professional counselor, consultant, and program director with extensive experience in mental health, education, and organizational wellness. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with individuals, families, creatives, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance mental health, leadership, and community well-being. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Ohio University. Throughout her career, she has provided trauma-informed counseling, executive coaching, and professional development training to organizations nationwide. With expertise in program development, consulting, and evidence-based interventions, Ashley brings a results-driven approach to advancing holistic well-being at both individual and systemic levels.

Diana Brown - Treasurer of the Ferguson Foundation
Diana Brown is semi-retired, working as a Project Specialist for South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company. She retired from STPNOC in 2016 after over 30 years in Information Technology as a Network Administrator and Project Manager. She volunteers as Treasurer at her church, fundraises for the Matagorda County Birding Nature Center and Livestock Show and Rodeo, and supports the Van Vleck Athletic Boosters. Her greatest achievements are her relationships with family and friends. Her passions include traveling, reading, and learning new things. Grateful for all experiences, she lives by the motto: keep learning. Diana’s background brings a wealth of knowledge to the Ferguson Foundation.

With more than a decade of experience leading marketing teams, Tiffani is particularly passionate about health-forward innovation and human-centered communication that drives both results and real-world impact. Her interest in supporting mental health initiatives is shaped by the experiences of close friends and family, and a commitment to expanding access to care with empathy and clarity.
